Library Instruction
WCTC librarians teach information literacy competencies that correlate with the components of the Critical Life Skill of Critical Thinking/Problem Solving - students demonstrate critical thinking skills to analyze situations and solve problems.
We offer hands-on library instruction customized for a particular project or assignment in our Library Instruction Room (30 computers) or in your classroom. We would be happy to discuss incorporating a library instruction session into your curriculum! Possible topics:
* Using library tools to find print & electronic resources |
* Locating credible materials for course assignments * Using APA style to cite resources properly * Any other desired learning objectives |
