Library Essential Research Workshops
Students can self-enroll in workshops at this link: https://wctc.instructure.com/enroll/4XT3NL
There are four library workshops available in Canvas to help you learn more about the library, evaluating sources, different source types and citing in APA format:
Learn about the resources the library has available and where materials are located.
Use investigative skills to evaluate and fact-check online information.
Learn the difference between magazines, trade publications and scholarly journals, as well as when to use them.
Learn the basics of citing sources in APA format.
Each workshop is a module on the Canvas course, "Library Essential Research Workshops." The modules include videos, discussions and quizzes to help you gain understanding of each topic. If an instructor is requiring a workshop for a class there is a place at the end of each module to put in the name of the class, the instructor, and their email. Once you upload and submit all the workshop elements we will send a verification of completion to the listed instructor.
