Focus on learning and applying a process for making informed job / career choices that lead to job satisfaction. A realistic career plan based on current labor market information and an individual's skills, interests, work values, personality, and environmental preferences is developed. 1 Credit Employment Success Course 890-108
In this 1-credit course, students will focus on skills that enable them to transition to professional life. Students will learn how to develop a resume, prepare for an interview effectively, and present themselves in a professional manner in-person and online. Strengths and personality assessments, practice interviews, keeping a job, and career management are also included in the curriculum.

Learn tips, techniques, and how to prepare yourself to ace the interview in this go at your own pace online workshop. Receive a certificate and schedule a mock interview upon completion! Edge, Chrome, or Safari are recommended to view this workshop.
Resume 101 Online Workshop
Develop your resume step-by-step in this go at your own pace online workshop. Receive a certificate and have your draft reviewed by a Career Specialist upon completion!
Computer Literacy Online
This interactive course is designed both both the novice and the more advanced computer user. Learn the very basics from using a mouse to Microsoft Office programs. Also included are links to keyboarding tutorials, helping you to increase your speed and accuracy.
Computer Basics / Literacy In-person Campus Class
This class is a very versatile self-paced class meant for not only the beginning computer user, but also those more advanced who wish to fill in the gaps for Windows and Microsoft Office. Great for employment test preparation and for brushing up before or while taking other classes. To register, call 262-691-5578 or stop in during the semester, Monday-Friday from 9am - 2:30pm at the WCTC Waukesha campus 327 E. Broadway, Waukesha, WI. $4.50 fee per semester.
