ATI TEAS Exam preparation and study materials.

The WCTC Nursing program recommends using a variety of resources to prepare for the ATI TEAS. Please note that some items listed on this site are free; others have a fee associated with them. The WCTC Testing Center has more information on the ATI TEAS. For questions about the admissions process, email enroll@wctc.edu or set up an appointment with the Enrollment Counselor team.

Registered WCTC students may check out the print books listed below for 14 days; all other borrowers are restricted to in-building use only. There is no cost to checkout these items. To access eBooks while off campus you will be prompted to login with your WCTC username and password.

Academic Support

Practice tests, instruction & concept review are available in the Reading, Math, and Science Centers.. The Reading, Math and Science Centers are located on the top floor of the B Building in the Library. Check the Academic Support Services schedule for availability and contact information. 

  • The Reading Center helps students build their vocabulary, discuss practice passage rationales, and provide additional verbal section materials to practice vocabulary and comprehension.
  • The Math Center reviews challenging concepts and can provide additional math practice problems for students as needed. They also have packets on fractions and percents, and use an additional math review book.
  • The Science Center reviews challenging concepts with students after a practice test is taken.

About the ATI TEAS

The TEAS Exam contains 170 questions for a total of 209 minutes allocated testing time.

Reading
(45 questions/55 minutes) Key ideas, craft and structure, integration of knowledge and ideas

Mathematics
(38 questions/57 minutes) Numbers & algebra, measurement & data

Science
(50 questions/60 minutes) Anatomy & physiology, biology, chemistry, scientific reasoning

English & Language Usage
(37 questions/37 minutes) Conventions of standard English, knowledge of language, using language and vocabulary to express ideas in writing.

Online Practice Exams: LearningExpress

To view and take the practice tests, register for a free account. There is no cost to use LearningExpress. Three test modes are available: simulation (timed), practice, or learner (answers provided as you go along).
