English Composition: Collaborative Map Project

Try doing an Advanced Search, following the example below. "GE" is a field code that means "Geographic Term." Placing it before a country name will return optimal results. Likewise, selecting the "SU Subject Terms" field to the right of the search box for other keywords will also return more targeted results.   

• Use keywords, not long phrases or full sentences.
• If your result list is small, try using fewer keywords or broader keywords (synonyms). Also change the Boolean operator to OR instead of AND.
• If your result list is too large, consider adding more keywords, or search by SU Subject Terms.
• Consider limiting the Publication Date under Refine Results in the left-hand margin.
• Consider limiting to Full Text under Refine Results in the left-hand margin.
• Print or E-mail the resource using the Tools in the right-hand margin on the Detailed Record page.
• Use the Cite tool to get an APA citation, but remember to make necessary corrections.
• Remember to use the Permalink, not the URL from the web browser's address bar.
• EBSCO Discovery can be used from offsite with your WCTC username and password.
