Short-term loans of computers, both Windows-based laptops and MacBook Pros (students only), are now available from the WCTC Library only. Previously both the IT Service Desk and the Library’s Information Desk were places from which laptops could be borrowed.
Borrowers must have a WCTC myCard and a Statement of Responsibility on file to check out a device. Student laptops and MacBook Pros may only be used on campus, and they must be returned before the Library closes. The WCTC Library lends iPads with Bluetooth keyboards for 28 days that may be taken off-campus by students.
The Bookstore continues to rent laptops for a fee with a rent-to-own option for students; financial aid may also be used.
